What Webault does, what it covers, and what it refuses to do.
Webault is a domain name finder. You describe what you are naming in one sentence. Webault writes candidate domain names, checks each one against the registry that runs its extension, and shows only names it can prove nobody holds, with the price to register. It covers 532 extensions and does not sell domains. It is made by YBM Labs.
A typical generator writes names and prints “available” without asking anyone, or reads from a cached list. Webault sends every name to the registry for its extension and only calls a name free when the registry confirms it. Names the registry cannot confirm are marked unverified and hidden.
No. A language model can write names but has never seen a registry. It cannot know whether a name is registered. Webault does the writing and then does the checking, and the checking is the point.

Every domain extension is operated by a registry that holds the authoritative record of what is registered. Webault queries that registry for each candidate name and reads the answer. It does not rely on a cached list or a third-party guess. The full process is on how it works.
Unverified means the registry did not give a clear answer for that name: a timeout, a rate limit, or an ambiguous response. Webault will not guess. Unverified names are never presented as free.
Because every name is a live lookup at the registry. A round takes seconds. Tools that answer instantly are reading a cache or not checking at all.
No. Availability is a snapshot at the moment the registry was asked. Anyone can register a name at any time, so if you see one you want, register it promptly at a registrar.
A round is one batch of names written and checked. When it finishes, Webault is told which names and shapes came back taken, and the next round avoids them.
Webault covers 532 top-level domains, the ones open for general registration, including .com, .co, .io, .ai and hundreds of descriptive extensions such as .studio, .design and .agency. Hundreds of other extensions exist but are brand-owned, restricted, or closed, so you cannot buy them. Webault leaves those out.
No. Webault is not a registrar. It shows you the price and a Buy link to a registrar, where you complete the registration yourself. Webault takes no cut and has nothing to mark up.
The price next to each name is the cost to register it at a registrar for that extension. It is shown so you can compare a cheap .com against a pricier descriptive extension before choosing.
Webault is free to start. You can run a hunt without entering a card.
One plain sentence describing what you are naming, the way you would say it to a friend. For example: “a two-person design studio” or “a newsletter about container shipping”. Specific sentences produce better names than keyword lists.
